A car manufactured in South Korea stopped right at the entrance of a tailor shop, which we can call a tailoring shop, named Almansir Tailoring and Fashion Design Company. The person at the entrance of the shop indicated that both men and women can bring their clothes for tailoring here. The car was an ash-colored KIA Saloon.

A fair-skinned girl, who we can say is either young or an adult woman, was the driver of the car. She stepped out wearing a suit similar to those abroad, specifically a women’s suit. She wore a camisole with broad shoulder straps, covered by a long blazer that extended past her knees.

The central button of her long blazer was the only one fastened. Her outfit was the same ash color. Her shoes were black, and she wore white glasses perched on her long nose, similar to those commonly worn by doctors.

She carried nothing in her hand except a modern iPad, and her hair, which reached the middle of her back, was loose without any headscarf or veil. A single glance at her would make you look back ten times without realizing it.

The way she locked her car alone showed that she was a confident woman aware of the beauty God had given her. It was evident that she knew she could stop people in their tracks wherever she went, which is why I perceived her as quite proud.

She was tall but not too slim, and her figure could be compared to that of Pretty Zeeta, an Indian actress. At first glance, one might mistake her for a non-Nigerian, given her appearance resembled that of a Miss World contestant, a beauty queen.

Her fingers were slender and painted with lamp paint in the same ash color as her clothes. Her nails were long like those of a shopkeeper’s. She took a few seconds before locking her car.

When she looked up, she tossed her hair out of her face as she locked her car. She glanced left and right before crossing the street to MONAK STORE.

I spent thirty-seven minutes browsing the desirable items that attract me to every superstore: chocolates, chewing gum, and biscuits, which I consider my meals. As for beauty products, I only picked different shades of lip gloss and lip balm.

I held a bag filled with items from the store I had just left. The ringing of my phone briefly distracted me as I walked.

“You know I don’t talk on the street. Please call back in forty minutes when I’ve reached Aunty’s house. Okay, thanks, bye.”

This was the conversation I had with my fiancé, who I have decided to marry soon, though I am still hesitant due to the thought of leaving home, which troubles me slightly.

We can say that the current cold weather, despite Jos being a very pleasant city, is the reason many Europeans and other fair-skinned people live here, as they are accustomed to cold climates in their home countries.
