Fatima and Sadiya were sitting at the gate of a large house. One look at them, and you could tell they were seeking help.
I hit the brakes and was about to get out of the car when I heard one of them say, "Sadiya, let's run away before he kidnaps us."
I froze, leaning against the car door, lost in my thoughts and stopped looking at them because of their frantic fleeing.
_This is the darkness of ignorance; if you had stayed, I would have helped you. But your lack of knowing who I am has made you run away. God willing, I promise to help you wherever you are._
This is what Yusuf thought as he spoke to himself.
After saying this, he got back into his car, started it, and drove home. Inside the house, he found Amina lying on the couch.
"Greetings, queen of women. You're busy, huh? You didn't even notice I arrived, nor did you come to greet me. Where are the children? I didn't hear them. Are they not here?"
She quickly looked up and said, "Welcome, dear. They finished eating and went to sleep. I've been waiting for you. How was the journey? Are you tired, or are you hungry?"
"It's everything you mentioned. I'm exhausted and hungry. I want you to prepare some hot water for me to take a bath before you bring the food."
"Sure, everything you want will be done right away."
She finished her words and stood up, indicating she was going to prepare the bath for him.
Yusuf's thoughts drifted back to the two children. He felt deeply troubled, considering their young age, and wondered how he could fulfill what he had planned. Suddenly, someone was speaking to him, saying, "I knew there was something you were hiding from me. The signs have started showing. I have been observing you for a while, but you didn't notice. But let's not talk about that now. Get up; I've finished preparing your bath."
