At the Minister’s Room
She arrived, and he opened the door for her. He hugged her immediately.
Pinky quickly got to work, sweet-talking him with seductive words. She turned off the light and began to seduce the old man.
---
Next Morning – 10:00 AM
She left the Minister’s room and returned to their room. Leema, still lying on the bed chatting, said, “So you’re just getting back from the Minister’s place?”
Pinky said nothing and collapsed onto the bed. She soon dozed off—after all, the Minister hadn’t let her rest all night.

AJ’s Morning
At exactly 11:00 AM, AJ woke up, showered, and dressed nicely. He ordered breakfast.
While eating, someone knocked—he hissed again, knowing it was likely Mimi and the others.
He got up and opened the door, then went back to sit.
It was Mimi, Sagir, and Sumayya. They were all well-dressed in matching outfits.
Before sitting, they asked, “Good morning!”
“Fine,” he replied. Mimi, who talked the most, said, “We want to go to Safa Park today.”
She quickly shut up after saying it.
He looked at them and understood what they wanted but said, “You can go without me.”
They all made pleading faces. “Please come with us,” they begged.
He raised his hand. “Okay, fine. Let me finish breakfast.”
They sat down, and Sumayya grabbed the remote and changed the channel to Bollywood.
Coincidentally, the cinema was advertising Raees for Saturday. They got excited but remembered AJ was still there.
Sagir whispered, “We’re going to see Noor on Friday. Remember how hard it was to convince him to let us switch to Saturday?”
Mimi said, “We’ll beg him again.”
After breakfast, AJ looked at them and said, “You all love roaming too much. Let’s go.”
---
They followed him out, Sagir locked his room, and they all went to the car park.
AJ told Sagir, “You’re driving. I’m not your driver.” He tossed him the keys.
Mimi and Sumayya sat at the back, AJ took the passenger seat, and Sagir drove off.

Meanwhile – Pinky & Leema
Pinky sat up and stretched, then stood. Leema, sitting by the dressing mirror, said through the reflection, “Didn’t you sleep last night?”
Pinky glared at her, got off the bed, and walked into the bathroom—she wasn’t in the mood for jokes. Leema knew better than to keep pressing.
Pinky spent about thirty minutes in the bathroom, then came out drying herself with a towel.
Leema said, “Please hurry so we can explore the city.”
Pinky ignored her. She was used to her moods.
After dressing in clothes that fit her perfectly, she said, “Let’s go, you nag.”
Leema laughed. “You haven’t even had breakfast.”
“I know. I’ll eat outside,” Pinky replied.
Once they left the hotel, Leema asked, “Where are we going?”
Pinky frowned and said, “Safa Park.”

At Safa Park
When AJ and the crew arrived, Sagir found a parking spot. Mimi and Sumayya got out.
AJ frowned at the crowd—he didn’t like noisy places.
Sagir said, “AJ, let’s go.”
“Okay,” he replied, stepping out.
They all walked together into the park. Mimi quickly took selfies. She ran ahead and said, “Just one pic, please! I’ll send it to Auntie Zuli.”
AJ reluctantly posed and she snapped a picture.
They found a place to sit. Mimi told him, “Auntie Zuli said you’ve gotten more handsome, cutie!”
Before she could finish her sentence, AJ’s phone rang. The screen showed “Wifey.”
He stood and stepped away to answer.
She said, “Cwt AJ, you look so good!”
He smiled. “Thanks, baby.”
She continued, “Yesterday, His Majesty asked me about our wedding plans.”
AJ went silent, thinking.
“Cwt, you’re quiet,” she said.
AJ replied, “Baby, I’ll be coming from Kano soon. When I arrive, we’ll talk. I love you.”
Then he ended the call without waiting for a reply.
---
They rushed back to the car. Sagir started the engine. AJ entered the front seat.
As they entered the hotel compound, AJ said, “Drop me here.” Sagir stopped, and AJ got out angrily.
Sumayya said, “I’ve never seen him this angry before.”
Sagir replied, “Me neither, but I’m surprised he knows her.”
Mimi said, “But he was rude. I didn’t like the way he spoke to her.”
Sagir and Sumayya agreed. “Yeah, that was too much—it was disrespectful.”
Mimi added, “And I didn’t even get her contact.”
Sumayya replied, “That girl’s prettier than Auntie Zuli, I swear.”
Sagir warned, “Don’t let him hear you. I saw the hatred in his eyes!”
---
Pinky was frozen in place. Her heart was burning. She was seconds away from tears, but she held it in.
Leema, who had already been wide-eyed, said, “See? Didn’t I warn you? Now he’s insulted you and walked away.”
Pinky forced a smile—one that hurt more than crying.
“He didn’t win. I swear, he touched the wrong girl,” she said.
“No one messes with me and gets away with it.”
She grabbed her handbag and stormed off.
---
AJ stormed into his room and went straight into the bathroom, fully dressed. He turned on the shower.
He wasn’t going to act yet, but once he got back to Nigeria, he’d have her background investigated.
“I’ll make her regret ever crossing Captain AJ,” he said to himself.
Meanwhile, Pinky didn’t visit the Minister that day. When he called, she said she had a headache.
She couldn’t even sleep properly that night.
AJ, on the other hand, slept well. Only he knew what he was planning for her.
---
Next Day
Mimi and the others went to AJ’s room after getting ready.
They knocked twice before he opened the door, holding his coffee cup.
“You guys want to go to the cinema this early?” he asked.
Sumayya said, “No, we want to go shopping. And please, you have to come.”
Seeing their faces, they all chorused, “Please…”
“Alright,” he said, then added, “Go ahead. I’ll be right behind you.”
They smiled and left.
He dressed in a blue pair of jeans and a white shirt—he looked really handsome. He sprayed his signature cologne, picked up his phones and Dubai ATM card, and went downstairs.
He handed in his room key and left.
He met the others outside recording a video. He shook his head and said, “One day, you’ll all grow up.”
Mimi replied, “Even parents are on Snapchat now! You’re the only one acting old.”
AJ rolled his eyes and got in the front seat. Sagir started the car and drove off.
They went to Dubai Mall and shopped like crazy. They even made AJ buy a gift for Zuly.
After a long day of fun, they got tickets for Raees—each 50k. AJ paid for everyone.
Though not a big movie fan, AJ actually enjoyed it.
They returned to the hotel at 11:00 PM, all exhausted, carrying shopping bags.
---
At the Hotel
Pinky was at the window watching people. She dropped her finished ice cream cup carelessly.
Just then, AJ was walking by, and the cup’s leftover contents splashed on his clothes.
Fuming, he grabbed the cup and threw it away, then looked up to see who the “illiterate” was.
Pinky didn’t even know what she had done. She had earphones in, dancing and singing along to Nicki Minaj.
His eyes landed on her face—and with fury, he said, “This idiot!”
