On January 4, 2025, His Excellency Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf promoted security officers, including the Assistant Director of Security (ADC) and the Escort Commander, at the Government House in Kano. 

This event was held as an expression of gratitude for their efforts in ensuring security and safety in Kano State.

Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf emphasized that the promotion symbolizes recognition and appreciation for the dedication of the security officers, reflecting satisfaction with the quality of their work. He urged them to continue their hard work to maintain peace in the state.

The event was attended by senior security officials and stakeholders in the state, where important issues concerning security and the development of Kano State were discussed. Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf pledged continued support for the security officers and other government sectors to ensure sustainable security.
